These classes are designed exclusively for students who have successfully completed my Basic Sewing Course for Beginners and wish to continue learning.

 

The main focus is to reinforce the skills acquired during the beginner course, introduce new sewing techniques, and work on more challenging projects that help students continue improving their abilities, precision, and confidence.

Our continuing sewing classes and specialized workshops are designed to give students the opportunity to keep practicing, explore new sewing techniques, and gradually build confidence through fun, hands-on projects.

 

The goal is to help students become more comfortable using their sewing machines, strengthen the skills introduced in the beginner course, and feel more confident exploring sewing projects independently at home.

 

Depending on the workshop, projects and topics may include:

 

• Basic Alterations: An introduction to simple clothing alterations and adjustments.

• Tote Bags & Handbags: Exploring basic techniques for creating fabric bags and accessories.

​

• Skirt Making: Learning the basic steps involved in constructing a skirt.

​

• Sewing Techniques: Practicing different seams, finishes, zippers, elastic applications, and other techniques related to each project.

• Creative Sewing Projects: Discovering new ways to apply and build upon previously learned skills.

Each workshop focuses on a specific project or technique, providing students with additional opportunities to learn, practice, and gain hands-on experience in a supportive and encouraging environment.

 

Every student learns at her own pace. These workshops are designed to encourage continued learning, creativity, and greater independence in sewing, one stitch at a time!

These classes and workshops are exclusively available to students who have successfully completed my Basic Sewing Course for Beginners.

 

They are not offered as independent intermediate or advanced courses and are not available to students who have not previously completed the beginner course with me.

 

Workshop topics, projects, dates, and duration may vary.
