A Little About My Creative Life Journey

Hi, I’m a Fashion Designer, Sewing Educator, and Mentor. I was born in Puerto Rico and have been living and working in Florida since the early ’90s.

My love for sewing began in childhood. My mom played a key role in nurturing my talent, she took me to private craft and sewing instructors when I was just 8 and 9 years old. By the time I was 14 and enrolled in a technical college to study basic and industrial sewing, she bought me my first industrial sewing machine, a moment that changed the course of my life.

I later earned an Associate Degree in Art with a focus on fashion design, along with additional studies in Fashion Merchandising. I spent years working in high-end boutiques as a fashion advisor and alterations manager, and eventually opened my own fashion and sewing studio where I had the privilege of designing custom gowns and specializing in couture bridal alterations.

While I no longer offer alterations or custom dressmaking as services, those decades of hands-on experience shaped the professional I am today and form the foundation of the knowledge I now share with my students.

Today, my work is fully dedicated to teaching and mentoring. I am passionate about empowering women to learn how to sew with confidence, develop strong technical skills, and explore their creativity. Whether their goal is to create their own clothing, start a business, or simply enjoy the art of sewing, I am honored to guide them on that journey.

My mission is simple: to share the talent and purpose God placed in my hands and help the next generation find joy, direction, and possibility through this beautiful art.

If you’re ready to begin your sewing journey, you’re in the right place.
