A little About Me

IMG_8401.jpeg

Hi, I’m Carmen Negrón a Fashion Designer and Couture Bridal Alteration Specialist.

I was born in Puerto Rico and have been living and working in U.S. mainland since the early ’90s.

My love for sewing started in childhood, thanks to my mom, who made sure I learned from wonderful instructors. By the time I was 14, I was in a dual program that allowed me to finish high school while studying both basic and industrial sewing at a technical school.

Later, I earned an Associate Degree in Art with a focus on fashion design, along with a degree in Fashion Merchandising. I spent years working in high-end boutiques as a fashion advisor and alterations manager—until I followed my dream and opened my own studio in 2005.

Since then, I’ve specialized in creating custom wedding gowns and offering expert bridal alterations. I love working with lace, appliqués, and floral details with beautiful touches that reflect my style and make every gown truly unique.

But what I love most? That final fitting moment… when the bride sees herself in the mirror and feels absolutely perfect. That moment is everything.

And in recent years, I’ve discovered a new passion: mentoring young women who want to explore sewing and design. It’s my joy to pass on what God has given me, and to help the next generation find their voice and purpose through this beautiful art.

Every dress I work on is made with love, and it would be an honor to help bring your vision to life.

Let’s create something unforgettable together.
